Flower delivery in Rusava from a Vsetín florist

Rusava lies in the deep valley of the Rusava stream. The village is in the north-western part of the Hostýnské vrchy range. In 2025, it had 579 inhabitants.

Until 1924, Rusava was called Rotalovice, and its first recorded mention dates to 1657. The Catholic Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was built in 1777–1779, while the Evangelical church was built in 1865–1883. Kašpar Villa was built in 1933–1934; Resort Rusava in the village valley comprises Hotel Rusava I, Hotel Rusava II, cottages and a restaurant. The village also has an outdoor swimming pool and a ski lift with artificial lighting.
