Flower delivery to Zádveřice-Raková from a local florist

Zádveřice-Raková lies in the Lutoninka valley. The municipality lies on the road and railway route between Zlín and Vizovice.

The municipality was formed in 1960 by the merger of Zádveřice and Raková. Zádveřice is dominated by a church of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, built between 1860 and 1869 on the site of a wooden prayer house that burned down. Czechoslovak military pilot Josef Hamšík came from Zádveřice-Raková and was executed by the Nazis in 1943.
